Ben McKenzie – PatronA Foundation member of the society. Ben McKenzie held various committee positions over the years including President, Vice-President and Privacy Officer. Delighted to be elected Patron for this term.
Peter Old – PresidentA past society committee member for 12 years (8 as President, 7 years as newsletter editor) – served as a MSNZ delegate for 8 years, MSNZ Board member for 3 years (1 as MSNZ President) – I have extensive experience in disability management and business administration.
Peter Langley – Vice PresidentRetired in February 2000 after 40 years in the heavy electrical industry and the last 25 years as an international sales manager which involved a large amount of travelling. On retirement he took up the position of secretary of Taranaki MS for a period of 6 years.
Denyse Niwa- SecretaryDenyse, after raising a family has decided that its time to help others who are struggling to help themselves so she is the volunteer Secretary for the society, a position she has previous experience and skills for and something she thoroughly enjoys.
Until a permanent Treasurer is appointed Peter Langley is filling-in with this position.

The Taranaki Society was founded in 1980 and I am proud to have been a member of that group. As I was working as a District Nurse, I volunteered to provide patient services. This role I relinquished in 1988 to a paid field officer. I have held various positions on the committee in the past and have now agreed to wear the Privacy Officer’s ‘hat’.
Helen Old – CommitteeHelen is a member of the committee which she has served on in the past along with a stint as secretary, Privacy Officer and newsletter editor.

Heather is a invaluable committee member. Heather is a home executive and a busy grandmother. Heather takes special interest in arranging Client Service needs for the society.
Glen Judson – CommitteeA member of the committee but has also been involved with MS for the past 17years. Glen is prepared to help out where ever possible in the organisation. placed text here to balance out the page

Bev Walsh – CommitteeBev works for the Ministry of Education for special needs and she works for CCS & supports people with special needs. Bev worked on the CCS Committee for 15 years and has also stood on the Taranaki MS Committee in the past.
